It’s only a few weeks since Ireland made history by being the first country to approve gay marriage by popular vote. Today another milestone was reached with the first gay Engagement notice appearing in The Irish Times. Here’s the announcement as tweeted by one of the happy couple… Well I guess there’s no backing out…
This weeks picture was taken in the 1890s and is of Bray Seafront. Once again we have a recent picture for comparison. While Bray itself has undergone major growth they have managed to keep the seafront and Bray Head itself relatively unchanged.
