We know how the British like to claim all Irish successes as their own; Conor McGregor, Paul Dunne all the way back to Stephen Roche. But even they would never see the need to claim inanimate objects.
Instead the Australians are doing it for them! A Reddit user spotted the following in Australian supermarket chain, Coles.
We don’t know if it’s ignorance or just a testing of the waters. But either way we’re not impressed. Tayto, the inventor of Cheese & Onion crisps are a true-and-true Irish institution and we can’t let anyone forget that.
