True Detective returned recently starring two Irish natives; Colin Farrell and Tim Murphy. Now Tim from Kerry has announced that he is to be a father for the first time.
“I have a steady woman now, which is good, and we’re having a child in a couple of weeks,” he said.
Now on our screens playing Osip Agramov in the hit series, Tim previously had roles in a number of successful series including Sons of Anarch and, of course, Glenroe.
I’m a bit of a late starter alright, but sure better late than never though.
The actor says it’s a bit late but, having found love with a younger woman he feels ready.
“I’ve got a young woman so she can do all the running around – she’s 32. She’s Boston Irish, so they’re quite similar to us and she’s got a good sense of humour,” he told Brendan O’Connor on RTE Radio 1.
In fact she’s a mean Bodhran player!
As we can see in this video Tim has neither lost his accent or his sense of humour!
