It’s been 10 years since they last released an album together. In that time Andrea married the son of Dermot Desmond – one of Irelands richest men – while Jim went bankrupt and started worrying about lizards controlling the world.
But it’s hard to keep a good Dundalk family down and now one of Irelands most successful bands is returning. The Corrs were on of the soundtracks bands of the 90’s/00’s and went out on top. They were the first band since The Beatles to have albums at number one and two on the UK charts simultaneously, with Forgiven Not Forgotten and Talk On Corners .
The band will perform for the first time in 10 years later this year, at September’s Live in Hyde Park, and a new album is expected next year.
